Meena is an AIFACS awardee who believes in the adage “Its never too late to learn.” She had her first brush with clay at the age of 50 and her journey through its realms has seen her carve a niche for herself. “Pottery is not just an art form,” says Meena, “It is a therapy. The very elements which constitute life - earth, fire, water, air and space amalgamate with clay and take any form that one’s creativity dictates”. Meena Vohra’s work adorns many a fine home in Delhi. She has several shows and exhibitions to her credit.
Meena’s forte has been experimentation of glass with clay ,a fusion resulting in designer pottery which is at once original and functional. No moulds are used, so each piece is one of a kind and cannot be replicated.
